Dr. Marisa Melo was raised in Mount Shasta, California and completed her Bachelor's degree in Biology at Texas Christian University.
She then completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Texas A&M University.
She met her fiancé, Dr. Ruiz, at Texas A&M and together they decided to move to Colorado to enjoy the outdoor activities, hiking, and cooler weather. She also delights in curling up with a good book when she isn't outside exploring! While she loves all furry friends, she is especially passionate about working and sporting dogs.
